Five Spots for Fine Dining (With a View!) on the Eastside

From the sweeping skylines and waterfront views of Lake Washington, to the greenery and mountain tops of the Snoqualmie Valley, there’s no shortage of options for scenic dining on Seattle’s Eastside. I’ve rounded up five can’t miss favorites that offer the best of what the Pacific Northwest have to offer (hint: bookmark this list and share with your out-of-town guests). During the summer months you can enjoy outdoor patios at most of these options as well, so read on for the best spots on Seattle’s Eastside for dinner with a view!

Aerial view of Salish Lodge and Snoqualmie Falls

Salish Lodge & Spa (Snoqualmie)

Located at the top of the massive Snoqualmie Falls, the Salish Lodge & Spa is a quintessential Pacific Northwest retreat featuring an 86 guest room lodge, a full service spa, and two onsite dining options that both feature jaw-dropping views of the Falls and Snoqualmie River below. The Dining Room, the Salish Lodge & Spa’s more formal option, offers a mouth watering line-up of surf and turf options. The Attic, a more casual dining option, features a wide variety of menu items, but highlights include stone fired pizzas fresh out of their stone hearth oven, and seasonal cocktails.

The Newcastle Golf Club

The Calcutta Grill at the Newcastle Golf Club (Newcastle)

You don’t have to love golf to enjoy the views you’ll find on the two outdoor dining patios at Calcutta Grill. Found 900 ft. above the Puget Sound at the Newcastle Golf Club and offering uninterrupted panoramic views of the Seattle skyline, the Calcutta Grill is home to one of the Eastside’s best happy hours and a diverse dinner menu, featuring both meat and unique plant based options.

Daniel’s Broiler (Bellevue)

One of the Seattle area’s most iconic steak house chains, Daniel’s Broiler in Bellevue is located on the 21st floor of a Downtown Bellevue high rise. Served alongside breath taking views of the Olympic Mountain Range and Seattle skyline, is a menu of award winning steak and seafood entrees. This is definitely one of the priciest spots on the list, but is worth visiting at least once if you appreciate fine dining and are looking to splurge.

Ascend Prime in Bellevue, WA

Ascend Prime Steak and Sushi (Bellevue)

A new addition to the Eastside, Ascend offers a unique PNW twist to the classic steak house menu – in addition to their top quality steak offerings they have a variety of sushi rolls and sashimi. Rounding out their options is a separate fully plant-based menu, making Ascend a standout pick for fine dining guests with a variety of dietary preferences. You can find them on the 31st floor of the Lincoln Square South-Tower in Downtown Bellevue, where incredible lake and city views are featured through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Aerial views of Kirkland/Lake Washington

Anthony’s HomePort (Kirkland)

The very first Anthony’s HomePort location, founded in 1975, is situated on the Kirkland waterfront and offers incredible views of Lake Washington and the Seattle Skyline. With 19 locations throughout Washington, Oregon and Idaho, this Pacific Northwest chain knows seafood.
